I have used Action RV over several years to work on three motorhomes I've owned as well as a fifth wheel. Their courtesy and quality of their work was excellent. I have also recently done a survey on the hourly rate charged by many of the repair shops in the area and Action RV was very competitive. And for me, I have always found Pete to be a reservoir of knowledge and always courteous. Yes he does appear to be very laid back and I guess some customers may interpret that as not caring. Give yourself time to get to know him and you will find out how much expertise the man has and that will be to your benefit. To be fair and as a caveat, your appointment date and time will most likely not be the date and time they start working on your RV but I have always found them to be honest about this. I work on my RV's myself except for the most serious issues that I don't have much if any knowledge of or when I don't have the time. I know when I take a unit for work the turnaround time will not be quick. Depending on the problem, however, they generally come pretty close to the estimated required time to get the job done. This is no different than any of the repair shops I have used over the years except that Action RV is better. Give them a try. Ask a lot of questions up front, be patient, and I'm sure you will be happy with their work.
The best RV service in North Houston area. They have been working on my coaches for the last 14 years and by now they have covered all systems from repair to maintenance with great result.
I keep coming back.
Action RV stands above all other shops I have used in the past. They are the most professional of all I have experienced. I am happy to have found them.
We recently had our motorhome in for the annual inspection and to check out a couple of issues we were having. One being the rear jacks were bleeding down and one of the rear slides was not working properly. The inspection was done in a very timely manner, but because of parts needing to be ordered and warranty to be confirmed, the extra work was taking a lot longer. No fault of Action RV.
My husband explained to them, that he was having shoulder surgery on a particular date and really needed to have the motorhome available for pickup prior to his surgery date as he would not be able to drive the coach for at least six weeks.
Action RV came though and did everything in their power to make this possible. We were able to pick up the coach with all repairs completed three days prior to the surgery.
Would and already have referred Action RV to several of my RV friends.
Wow what a great job!! Action RV did a fantastic job. They took care of a list of problems with our Beaver coach fixing every issue with exacting detail. From the Hydro-Hot to the vent covers all repairs were completed on time and at a fair price. Lauren and Pete have earned our business for years to come.
Shop was very professional. Came highly recommended from the Tiffin owners’ forum website. Had to order apart from Tiffin. Hard to find a GOOD RV repair shop in the Houston area. Worth the drive (if you want it fixed right the first timev). Highly recommend.
RV owners should cultivate a coach repair shop they can trust. Action RV has done some heavy maintenance on our 12-year-old Gulfstream and we are very satisfied.
Honest and knowledgeable repair center. We will only take our Tiffin to this shop for repair.
Action RV service far exceeded the service of the coach manufacturer and were extremely helpful throughout the repair process with regards to keeping me informed on the status of the repair work. I will not return to the dealer for service from now on Action is where all my RV work will be done.
Having to leave everything behind due to Hurricane Ida… not knowing what we would return to… we ran into an engine AC issue with the RV … we found Action RV down the road and gave them a try…we discovered the part necessary to fix our AC was gonna be tough to find… Sabrina & Pete are amazing! They are compassionate to your needs as timely as humanly possible! They are open to suggestions with any assistance you can offer to find parts… they exhausted all efforts on their end to get the job done! In the end they had us all fixed up with top notch services… Our experience in a time of crisis was second to none.. Thanks Action RV! We will make the drive if necessary to seek your services in the future!
We bought an RV in Conroe and the dealer recommended Action RV as the best source to install an inverter for our 2012 Coach House Platinum RV. Pete was extremely knowledgeable, adjusted his schedule to meet with us, and spent almost an hour discussing and advising us on the inverter installation. Pete and Lauren completed the estimate which I found reasonable, and we are scheduled for the installation in 2 weeks. They are very understanding of our desire to be out camping in our RV versus having it in the shop!
I have experienced professional, courteous service at the business and would recommend it to others.
Hands down the best RV Service Center anywhere. We have taken our Tiffin for service at several places, even several of the so called "Big Name" places that are supposed to know everything about RV's. No company in the Houston/Montgomery area is more knowledgeable about repairing everything, I mean everything. Some places say they know how to fix an issue but don’t, they just put a band-aid on it, and it breaks later. Action RV wants you and your RV to be Happy!
UPDATE 6/5/2018: After a year of putting up with our Class C rocking and bouncing despite air bags on the suspension, I talked with Pete about alternatives to improve the ride. He installed Bilstein heavy duty shocks and Roadmaster sway bars front and rear. Our coach now rides like one of the heavier Class A models as it glides smoothly down the road. Thanks to Pete and the Action RV gang for making our RV trips even more enjoyable!
We have had RV's in California, Louisiana, Nevada and Houston. In each location we had to deal with RV service centers. Hands down Action RV on Hwy 105 in Conroe is by far the best service center we have ever dealt with. Are they the cheapest? Any experienced RV owner knows that when it comes to RV repairs, the cheapest cost of repairs is not always the best repair. When I look for RV repairs, I want to be sure they are properly done and that I can count on the repair not being a future problem. Working with Pete and the staff at Action RV has always been a pleasure. Pete has repeatedly demonstrated he is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to coach construction and repair. Knowing that provides me with a great deal of confidence that the repair will be properly done. In each of my 4-5 trips there they have always given me a cost estimate for the work needed and stuck to the estimate. Sometimes it takes a little while to get an appointment because they are busy and only have top quality staff working for them. I am completely OK with that because once again I know that when the work is done it is done correctly. There are other options for RV repairs in my area. But based on my experience, I would not entrust my motorhome to anyone other than the folks at Action RV.
Good quality work and they have the experience to know what works best. They did delamination repair for me and were also correct that the seam tape I had so carefully used on my roof was not working. (I could have saved myself some time & tedious work later if I hadn’t needed to see & prove that for myself!!). Also nice was that their bid for my job was accurate. Being on a budget I appreciate that!!
